Dec 31, 2079.

18 million people are about to become unwitting drones of a single ideology - a single resolve, a single cause.

You, are to stop it.

The fight for freedom begins

Set in the year 2079, OJI moves surreptitiously with its plans to subjugate human volition.

OJI, headquartered in Bangalore, India; is a mega-corporation, with interests affecting nearly every level of consumer need, society and government. Originally focused on communications and military technologies, new ventures have expanded into consumer products, biological synthetics, surveillance and law and order enforcement contracts.

OJI has over the decades been stealthily upgrading their human neural-link technologies with the intention of subliminally and remotely controlling biological systems. And with a majority of the human population augmenting their abilities with brain-compute interfaces, the threat of subverting human will, became real.

With the upcoming release of OJI’s neural link firmware upgrade, their plans to dominate will commence.

You are 96D970, and you’re going to stop OJI.

As a child you had heard tales of how Symbiotic Intelligence helped win the war. You had heard that OJI pioneered SI. You were there when society split itself into BJIVI's or BILVA's in their ego rush to be a CCC-symbiote.

As a BJIVI yourself, you were an engineer at OJI. You helped advance their strengths.

And then you saw it - the avarice and moral rot. OJI not being content with when and if, a human agent would choose to interface with OJI's central-computing-cortex (CCC), wanted dominion over the human agent.

You left OJI. You blew the whistle. You were made a fugitive. Media and society made you a pariah.

And now, the firmware upgrade (CCC v39) you had warned about, is upon the people; and their only fighting chance is you.

With an OJI-backed police and judicial system stacked against you, only your wits and courageous action can stop the menace of OJI.

23 minutes before the CCC update going live is your window of opportunity. Due to a system wide reset procedure, security will be the weakest during this time.

Frequently Asked Questions

-1. How long is the gameplay?

23 minutes. The objective in the game is to complete the mission in 23 minutes. That would be difficult to achieve though, since the bosses in the game require unique kill strategies and is not a simple matter of point and shoot. Fortunately though, the game has save-points after each boss fight that allow players to reload and retry infinitely.

-2. What platforms will BLR80 be available for?

Meta Quest/Rift and Steam

-3. Does BLR80 support SteamVR?

-4. Is there multiplayer or co-operative play?

No, BLR80 is a single-player game.

-5. Is the game in English?

English is the only language supported across all UI. Some of the bot audio dialogs are in English as well as in Kannada though.

-6. Are the locations in the game fictional?

The city part of the game is a mishmash of fantasy and various parts of Bangalore city.

Developed by OJI robotics.

ed108 (The Spider bot)

Along with the ed103, the ed108 too was designed to handle the needs of nuclear power stations. Retrofitted with a rail cannon and a flame thrower, the ed108 maintains and guards the science station. Developed by OJI robotics.

ed510 (The Guardian)

The ed510 is the guardian of the compute center. It maintains and protects the systems that power the CCC. The guardian has no projectile weapons. Its attack style, if provoked, is a fast charge and melee attack. Unlike most other OJI robots, the ed510 cannot be terminated by projectile weapons.
